CHEMISTRY, ASSIGNMENT LETTER for the Sept. 19th -  Sept. 23rd. week.




My dear 10th. and 11th. Students:


Due to my traveling overseas, I've arranged my substitution with Mr. Lombardo Galeas who is going to be incharge of you until my comming back on October 10th, if God allows our proposals.

In this matter, here is what its going to be review for your Biology mid term evaluation report, so try to make Mr. Galeas takes note of all your pending assignmets that haven't been graded.



10th Grade.
Description of the activities to be evaluated for reporting mid term partial.

- 3 notebook revisions, with everything that has been developed in class and this blog prior assignments.
- 1 essay about how chemistry is related to a job field of your choice, using as a background at least 3 articles found in the internet about this topic.
3 lab practices, in the lab class:
# 1 Bubbles, Tx-Bk pag 23
# 2 1+2+3 Black, Tx-Bk pag 56 (To be resolve 09/21/16), during chemistry class period
# 3 Accuracy & Precisión, Tx-Bk pag 72 (To be resolved, 09/21/16), during chemistry class period.
and 5% of class behavior related to our Class rules compromise.

Take a look on activities #2 & #3 materials, to gather them for their resolution, as scheduled.

Be good to Mr. Galeas and show him all your pending assignments accomplishments, so he may actualize your mid term gradings.

CHEMISTRY 4th. ASSIGNMENT LETTER


Dear Students, here is a remainder about this subject assignments for this 4TH. week of classes: Sept. 5th - Sept. 9th.'16.

10TH. GRADE CHEMISTRY

Ch. 3 Scientific Measurements

Class Work: 
1) Lab class 09/07/16: Exploring Density, Inquiry Activity
Tx-Bk pag. 62, In gropus bring the materials described in the activity procedure.
2) 10% quiz evaluating achievements on Ch. 1 & 2 contents. 09/07/16. A study guide will be delivered by the teacher for this purpuse, on monday sept. 05. 
3) Practice Problems Tx-Bk pages 69 - 78.

Home Work:
1) Organizing Information conceptual map, described on Tx-Bk pag. 95
2) Resolve Reviewing content Tx-Bk pag 96, section 3.1 Measurements and their uncertainty,  and 3.2 The international System of units (ISU).

Class Work
1) Sept. 8th'16 10% quiz evaluating achievements on Ch. 1 & 2 contents.  A study guide will be delivered by the teacher for this purpuse, on tuesday sept. 06th. 
2) Lab practice Small-scale Lab describe on Tx-Bk pag. 400. In groups be sure to bring the following materials: 
Clinical Alcohol (a bottle of 50ml)
Graph paper of 1-cm scale
A bag of Ice for the whole class

Home Work
1) Observing Gas Pressure activity on Tx-Bk pag. 384
Perform this activity and take some picture of your practice.
Report your observation, in your note book, justifying it with the theory about the topic written in the Tx-Bk, in a lab report format already suggested by the teacher.
