CHEMISTRY, ASSIGNMENT LETTER for the Oct. 10th - 14th. week.




My dear 10th. grade students:


To undergo the next final evaluation for this 1st. partial in our class of Chemistry you need to prepare yourselves studying with your text book from pag. 68 to 90 about significant figures, and the following key concepts about Atomic Structure:
  • How Dalton transformed Democritus’s ideas 
  • The importance and use of the periodic table. 
  • The types and description of subatomic particles, in an atom.  
  • The nature and meaning of  Isotopes of an element 
I'll check out your notebook this friday, I hope you have all the lab practices reports resolved and the activities you did with Mr. Galeas. These evidences will be graded and added to your accumulative grade.

Dear 11th Grade students:

For your Chemistry exam you need to study with your text book from page 413 to 425, paying close attention to the gas behavior laws of Mr. Boyle, Mr. Charles, and Mr. Lussac, as well as the combined gas law. Resolve the sample problem of each topic and then the following 2 practice problems below, and study the theory explanation that preceds each calculation.

I'll check out your notebook this friday, I hope you have all the lab practices reports resolved and the activities you did with Mr. Galeas. These evidences will be graded and added to your accumulative grade.
