Chemistry I and III,   Oct. 24th - Oct. 28th. activity up-date.

My dear 10th. Students:

This week, we'll be reviewing section 4.3 Distinguishing among atoms in your tx-bk pag. 110.
Those of you that have a Periodic Table please bring it along because we will be checking some values in it. Those that don't have one, please try to get one as soon as possible so we wont have any delay in this importan topic.

Also we'll perform a lab practice, The atomic mass of Candium, so for this purpose we will need that each group may brig a bag of candies of different colors, as those shown in your tx-bk pag. 120.

For the 2nd. class of this week we will be resolving som exercises to calculate composition of an atom, atomic mass, and the introduction of Chp. 5 Electrons in atoms.

Try to see the following video about this topic so you can have an idea of it prior to our class about electrons. Have a nice and productive week, my dear students.

Here's a Bohr's atomic model for you to make an image of how the electron moves around the nucleus of an atom.

Dear 11th. gde students:

This week we'll be finishing ch. 14 contents with the combined gas law, the Ideal gases and mixtures and movements of gases. We'll check out the materials to perform the small scale lab described on your tx-bk 437 to finish up this chapter.

Here's a video to help you out with Dalton's Partial pressures law:

A work sheet with more practice exercises will be resolve to practice Combined law, and Dalton's law of partial pressures.

That'll be all for this 1st. week of the 2nd. partial. See you in class!
